Learn how to sharpen your message and deliver it with credibility

The Details

Intended audience: Technical teams and individual contributors who need to translate their work into meaningful messages for broad audiences.

Subject matter experts often struggle with how much information to share in their meetings and presentations. Further, when AI floods the room with information, clarity becomes your superpower.

In this workshop, learn practical frameworks and strategies to prepare just the right amount of information to interest the audience, but not overwhelm them. Participants leave this workshop with new awareness and skills to communicate with more credibility and confidence and ultimately influence their colleagues.

This workshop is fast-paced, interactive, and practice-based. We will work with the point of contact to tweak the prompts to be specific for the group. Each person will receive individualized feedback.

Agenda:

  • Learn your AIM: Audience, intent and message

  • Sharpen content - Learn several structures to make your content more clear and concise

  • Refine your delivery - Use body language, pace, and pausing to convey executive presence

  • Manage nerves - Reflect on best practices to stay present and positive

Class Size: up to 20 participants

Format: 2 hours virtual or 3 hours in person

Challenge: Team members going too deep into technical detail, making it hard for cross-functional partners and executives to quickly understand the “so what.”

What We Did: Delivered a workshop focused on clear, concise communication and influencing across teams, with real scenarios and live practice.

Outcome: Participants began leading with their main point, aligning faster in meetings, and reducing back-and-forth with stakeholders.
