Learn how to create more engagement and learning in your live trainings

The Details

Many facilitators are comfortable walking through a deck—but when engagement is low, ideas don’t land, and the facilitator is left wondering if participants walked away with the information and clarity they needed. This workshop is designed to help the team shift from presenting information to facilitating interaction. The goal is to strengthen team members' ability to lead sessions that are more audience-focused and participatory.

Participants will learn how to create energy and connection from the start, keep interaction high throughout, and navigate Q&A with more purpose and control. 

This workshop will be fast-paced, interactive and will focus on learning by doing. Each person will come in with a training/presentation that they are willing to refine and experiment with. There will be feedback and coaching along the way - feedback both from the two instructors as well as from peers. 

By the end of the session, participants will: 

• Develop their opening with a formula to be more engaging and interactive 

• Use simple facilitation techniques to involve more voices throughout the training 

• Guide discussions to stay on track while keeping participants active

• Lead more effective, intentional Q&A (beyond “Any questions?”)

• Refine and experiment with the techniques on their current presentation
